This dark brown cow hide hat is the perfect travel companion. Each hat is foldable and comes with its own calico travel bag, it doesn’t matter how much you scrunch it up, it will easily get back to its original shape. This new model, which is also available in Hickory and Black, is out best seller. This new model comes with integral chin strap attachment points, the chin straps are available to purchase separately and are not supplied with the hat.
When you come to measure up for a hat please be aware that they tend to come up on the small side. If you measure the circumference of your head about 2.5 cm above your eyebrows this should then match the size you choose. If you think you are between sizes then we would advise you to choose the next size up.

Marks and scratches on our leather hats are considered a natural feature as they are made with naturally scarred leather from free-roaming cattle or wild kangaroos in Australia. Each hat will be slightly different due to the individual nature of cattle and kangaroos.
All Barmah Hats are fully packable – Super-light and strong – water resistant leather (DriHide® process)
To get the most out of your Barmah hat, we recomend using our specially formulated “Barmah Hat Waterproofing Spray”. As the name suggests, the spray helps to repel water away from the leather, therefore helping to keep you dry. The spray also works as a leather conditioner so will help keep the leather soft and supple.
Please do not use a heat source to dry your leather products as this can lead to cracking and drying. Instead, allow time for natural air drying.
